The songs were inspired by the stories of the people who used to live in these wild, remote places. They recorded it on St Kilda, an uninhabited island in the Outer Hebrides, after a long sea journey by tall ship.
Their new album Air Iomall means 'on the edge' in Scottish Gaelic. They play original songs that could pass for trad tunes much of it improvised in live performances. Charlie Grey and Joseph Peach are a piano/fiddle duo from the Scottish Highlands (although both are now based in Glasgow).
